Install salvage door in older home - April 2022

A family in a 100+ year old Claremont home needed a door re-installed in a first floor hallway. It was a DIY project, but properly fitting and hanging the door proved more than they were up for.

They had done a excellent job selecting a salvage door and hardware from Urban Ore. the frame was pretty plumb, but out of square on both axes. The top and latch side were trimmed and planed to match the fit, hardware installed and door hung.
