Building a Water Feature

The addition of a water feature to a yard is transformative. The addition of moving water, and it’s impact to ambiance with the sound, helps anchor the sense of place, and to focus on the immediate, the present, by reducing the intrusion of the outside world.

This steam recirculates along its 15 foot path from the pondless resevoir at the bottom. It’s tied into the water supply, so that any evaporative impact is addressed through a supply line controlled by a float valve. The homeowner can turn the stream on and off from inside.
